Team
The OAO brings together scientists and engineers who join with their different professional backgrounds at various stages of their career (e.g. from student to Emeritus). Within OAO, their complementary competences supports the devloppement of new generation of instrumented underwater robots and of their associated scientific applications, so contributing to the elaboration ofthe oceanic observation systems of the future.
The OAO, hosted by the Laboratoire d'Océanographie de Villefranche, which is part of the Observatoire Océanologique de Villefranche (France), also is supported by one of the working groups, the Marine Optics Remote Sensing and biogeochemical Applications group. Team members also belong to other research groups and institutions. Close collaborations on a national and international level have been established.
